Working Distance

We advise you to measure your working distance on a clinical bay.
For dental professionals, make sure your thighs are parallel to the floor and your feet are sat flat on the floor
Then make sure your are sitting with a comfortable posture, with a straight back and relaxed neck

When you are in the correct posture, measure from the corner of your eye to your surgical site and observe the distance on the measuring tape.

For dental professionals this will be to the patients lips.
For surgery, please measure to the general surgical site
Interpupillary Distance
After measuring your working distance, then ask someone to take a photo of you holding the camera at the same distance from you as your working distance

Hold a ruler touching your forehead at eye level making sure it is parallel to the floor and not bent - please ensure the increments of the ruler are visible in the photo

Use the flash as this is allows us to have pinpoint accuracy of the location of the centre of your pupil - take the photo at eye level
Please take 3 good photos and email them to lloyddentistryltd@gmail.com
